I’m Gemma and I’m the laidback yogi, so termed, as I wanted to reflect how I want everyone to approach the practice of yoga. My classes will tend to vary weekly, but expect a supportive and welcoming practice, focussing on your own yoga practice.
My main style of yoga is vinyasa flow, which I love as it’s energetic, but I encourage you to go at you own pace, engaging the breath (pranayama) to help calm the mind and lead to deep relaxation after class.
For me yoga is about being playful and inquisitive when exploring the postures (asanas), whilst listening to your own body and practising self care.
You cannot always control what goes on outside. But you can always control what goes on inside.
